Responsibilities


Ancillary Product Strategy & Portfolio Ownership 


  • Define, align, and implement the ancillary product strategy in line with the company’s commercial objectives. 
  • Own and develop the full ancillary product portfolio. 
  • Influence cross-functional stakeholders to support product development, operational integration, and portfolio growth. 


Product Development & Innovation 


  • Develop new ancillary products from concept to implementation, ensuring customer value, operational feasibility, and commercial impact. 
  • Identify emerging industry trends, customer needs, and technological innovations, evaluating their potential integration into the Wizz Air portfolio. 
  • Lead product testing, piloting, and rollout activities in collaboration with Digital, Operations, and Commercial teams. 


Partnership Management 


  • Lead the identification, assessment, and onboarding of new ancillary partners. 
  • Manage partnership activities including tendering, commercial negotiation, contract signature, and performance monitoring. 
  • Ensure partner products meet Wizz Air’s quality, safety, regulatory, and operational standards. 


Performance Management 


  • Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly performance of each ancillary product against budget and targets. 
  • Conduct regular benchmarking of competitor ancillary offerings, service levels, and product innovation (excluding pricing ownership). 
  • Identify and execute improvement actions to enhance financial and operational performance. 


Team Leadership 


  • Build and lead a high-performing ancillary product team capable of delivering world-class product development and execution. 
  • Set clear objectives, provide coaching, support team development, and promote a culture of innovation and accountability. 


Experience


  • Minimum 10 years of experience in product management, business development, partnerships, or commercial roles, ideally within aviation. 
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and managing a diverse product portfolio. 
  • Proven track record in leading complex cross-functional projects and driving organization-wide alignment. 
  • Experience managing international teams or multi-country operations is an advantage. 


Hard skills


  • Strong commercial and analytical mindset. 
  • Solid understanding of digital channels and customer experience optimization. 
  • Ability to leverage data and insights for product development and decision-making. 
  • Experience with third-party partnership management and contract processes. 


Education


  • Completed university or college degree. 


Language


  • Fluency in English (spoken and written).
